For those who just can’t get enough of that Spanish Gold charisma: The part-Austin supertrio du jour has added another local appearance to next week’s agenda, after their Thursday appearances at Waterloo Records and the Parish.
On Friday, June 20, at noon, the band will take part in an On-Airstreaming session at the media company’s downtown studio next to La Condesa in the 400 block of West Second Street. The first 100 people to RSVP by clicking on the “register” button at http://onairstreaming.ticketleap.com/spanish-gold/details will be admitted to the session free.
The band will give an intimate two-song performance inside the Airstream, with attendees viewing on a video screen from outside. The band members then exit the trailer and are interviewed in front of the audience.
Spanish Gold, which features Austin’s Adrian Quesada (also of Brownout) on guitar along with former Hacienda frontman Dante Schwebel and My Morning Jacket drummer Patrick Hallahan, released its debut album, “South of Nowhere,” May 27 on the BMG affiliate Del Mar Records.
